Paddlefoot Productions, Inc. owns an extensive stock footage and transparency library. Accumulated over the past 35 years by Internationally known wildlife photographer and cinematographer Glenn D. Chambers (see RESUME).
More than 250,000 images of numerous birds and mammals in their natural habitat are available. Many aspects of each subject's life history is available. The furbearing mammals and waterfowl collections are especially strong. Other wildlife subjects are covered in depth. Please inquire at 573-445-9773.
All images in this extensive file were captured on 16 millimeter negative film using an ARRIFLEX SR 3 HIGH SPEED CAMERA with Zeiss lenses. Images are available of the North American river otter including much of the animal's life history, e.g. female otter in den with tiny babies, several stages of development were filmed as the young grew up. Spectacular underwater scenes of otters fishing, catching crayfish, playing, and stalking prey are available.
Other footage includes bobcats, beavers, badgers, and white-tailed deer. The deer footage includes newborn fawns nursing for the first time while the doe is still lying down. The cleaning of the fawns by the doe, the doe ingesting the placenta following birthing, and the doe stimulating the fawns to urinate and defecate are a few of the unusual behaviors captured on this species. Unusual close-up images include shots from behind and umderneath the doe showing the udder as the twin fawns are nursing. Sounds of the fawns nursing are available.
Especially unusual is some great underwater footage of the paddlefish and lake sturgeon filmed in the wild, not in an aquarium.
The striking close-ups of all of these animals adds to their beauty and interest.
This footage is available on BETA SP and DIGIBETA formats.
