National Geographic Explorer Program

We are currently producing a film for National Geographic Television about river otters. The film features three generations of our imprinted otters, the in-depth way that we deal with them in the home setting; how we imprint them, nurture and love them, prepare them for their educational mission, and how we film them in the wild. Incorporated in the film will be some interesting natural history footage about otters and a segment about the Missouri Department of Conservation's successful otter reintroduction program. The program aired on CNBC the first time on Sunday, April 23, 2000. Since then it has aired four times around the world, twice in five foreign languages. It was selected as one program for airing on December 31, 2000 as "The best of National Geographic Television, 2000.".
